I am Özgür. In 2016, I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree of Science (BSc) in Sound Engineering at Solent University in Southampton, United Kingdom. Throughout my studies in Southampton; I completed an internship at Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK), which has earned me valuable and fundamental knowledge on audio recording, post-production and radio broadcasting.

In 2018, I have been awarded with Master’s degree in Audio Production at University of Salford in Manchester, United Kingdom. While I was studying there, I learned how emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR), 3D binaural audio, drones etc. have started to change and revolutionized entertainment and media industry.

Now, I am studying for a PhD in Communication and Media Studies at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). At the same time, I also work as a full time Film & Sound Studio Engineer at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD). Besides that, I am a podcaster at ARUCAD as well, being the creator/author/host of the podcast show named ‘ARUCAD Talks’.
