After attaining his undergraduate degree in Radio-TV and Cinema and his Master’s in English Language and Literature, Hakan Karahasan completed his doctorate in Media and Communication Studies. With a European Union achievement scholarship that he attained in the 2009-2010 academic year, he undertook a position as a visiting researcher in the department of Communication Sciences (now called Philosophy and Communications) at the University of Bologna.
In addition to his academic studies, he has produced and presented the Head to Head programme with Bulut Ünvan at Bayrak Classic. Towards the end of 2019, together with Ahmet Serdar Gökaşan, he translated Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book Le Petit Prince, which has been translated into more than 400 languages and dialects, into the Cypriot Turkish dıalect.
